The Franchisee Training Program of SERVPRO

The Franchisee Training Program is an intense 3-week regimen that prepares the new SERVPRO Franchise owner in all aspects of operating their franchise. In addition to providing certification in water and fire damage restoration, it also includes training in mold remediation. There is a heavy emphasis on commercial restoration of the previous catergories of damage. This course exposes the SERVPRO of Evergreen Park / South Chicago City Operations Manager, Terry Murphy, to computer applications and systems, equipment operation, maintenance, accounting, job estimating and marketing training. SERVPRO has two houses on the property that are actually flooded and smoke damaged to provide realistic scenarios for training. Commercial Flood Damage at Chicago Hotel

Commercial damage at this Chicago hotel resulted from a cracked toilet bowl and there was flooding. This water damage cleanup project extended to fifteen rooms that had been affected while the source of damage poured water out for five hours.
